#1- I was signed in 2001 to Mad Flavor Ent. a subsidary label with a distribution deal with Sony. I left the deal on table and joined up with artist(s) in the S.O.A.z but this you should already know. I have walked away from the Rap thing before.
#2- Music I was doing got me no where.
#3- I don't like to waste time or money, I am not rich or unemployeed so I don't have unlimited time or money.
#4- I saw the quality of music I had been making over the past 2 or 3 years.
The music was ok, but not really great. Most of the songs I was doing weren't sellable or marketable.
#5- The music I was recording was not going any where.
#6- The people I was making music with were for the most part, talented but not above average.
#7- I took a realistic look at where this is headed. I encourage anyone who is a music artist to do the same, especially since I have been in and out of studios since 1999 when most studios would give you a Dat-Tape or a Cassette Tape of your shit...As a studio recording artist since 11 years ago, I took a good look at what is realistic where this is going:

For me, there is no future in Rap. I would perfer to invest my time in something I can make more money doing and be more successful in.

I have less opprotunities in Rap then others, like tryna fit a square ped into a round whole. Many people hate on my swag for my skin color, and Rap is done by mostly Black people.

I had a Good Run, though, I had some good times.

I disagree with some of the artists I was making music with a few months ago. They think the verse that I did on Verse 3 of a song they collabed on wasn't as good as I do.

I thought it was my best verse I ever laid down.
So I am finished, I will never record again.

I might quit the radio show too, but this is something I will decide on in a few weeks after the blogtalkradio change goes down on 2-1-11 then I will look at that and see how that makes me feel. If I feel like continuing I will if I am not havin fun anymore I will quit that too.
