"You Got Me" is the first song we are using here on the Garage Band BBS/Tha Hood On Remote's new Series: The Making Of.......
This song was made in 2003 back when OH10 had not yet started dating Luana Lewis (who is now his Baby Mom).
This song was made when Va'Les used to live on Walnut Lane. Va'Les and Luana were always friends because Luana was close friends with Va'Les's Baby Moms....They had wanted to collab for years but never got around to it. This was back when Kwin MD had the Roland 880 EX and used to bring it all over tha hood as a portable studio. All's he needed was an electrical socket with 3 holes to plug in his 3 prong plug and the magic was on & poppin from there...
Kwin went down to pick up the artist at her Grandpa's crib in SWP.....They went over Va'Les crib and the collab took place there. Luana Can Sing, man she can Blow! Luana Can also Flow pretty smoov too...Va'Les played her a series of beats that he made and she picked one. Any time Va'Les records, preparation is optional. He freestyled his verse (which was towards the end of the song) he yells addlibs in Mix Tape Dee Jay Fashion...."Luana Lewis From North we got some Hot Shit, Beat's by Drama Q on this B.I.P. Production....Oh!!!!"
The tracks she used to lay her vocals were about 3, One Melody Vocal Track, One Harmony Vocal Track & One Addlib track....
Her Rap verse was on the same track as one of her Vocal Tracks, she used only one track for the addlibs for both the singing & the Rap...She didn't take too many takes, she was more confident then most females that Kwin ever recorded with. Most of it was one take type stuff...Va'Les addlibed her begining part of that hook after his verse and she addlibed his verse with singing as well...
This Duet was recorded by Kwin MD and mixed down at APG Studios....
At the end Kwin did a little P. Diddy / Jazzy Fizzle Esk type Naration by tryna be funny and he was not talking about Luana when he said "Damn girl, you got me tryna figure out when the next time you gon call me is, damn girl them the firmest titties I ever touched too" with Luana singing in the back round "You got me"....Kwin was actually talking about a Girl He was dating at the time.....
Shortly after this song was recorded OH10 and Luana Lewis began to be boyfriend & girlfriend...
She doesn't record as much anymore...
OH10 doesn't record that much either, he's been chilling with Va'Les since and they stayed pretty good friends up until Va'Les got encarcerated...Only Va'Les & his peoples kept in Contact with OH10 and Luana Lewis...
They are part of the original S.O.A.z group but are long lost to the Music Recording world these days...

Street Value Records
This is a subsidary Label under APG Forx Records. The rights to some of the music that APG Forx releases under the sub label Street Value Records are owned in Part By Shallow aka Nvisible Beats and PL (Paul Love)...
Yesterday we posted:
The idea was to have PL mail his solo songs to ascap for his own 100% ownership of his music through ascap publishing. Kwin did that for his solo music under his Publishing Company known as APG Forx Records. Street Value Records was the name of the publisher for both PL & Kwin MD....PL never copyrighted his solo music, so, only the collab songs were published & copyrighted under Street Value Records.

The last e-mail's sent before the recording and music business relationship had ended is here execlusively in THA HOOD BBS ON REMOTE:

The e-mail before that was Kwin wrote:I Can't spell dog. But read this over so I can send it to get the Copy writing.I got the CD in the Mail.Did you peep http://www.ascap.com/ yet?
Miles Heinz III(the third)akaWoofie was on the song "President PL" doing addlibs (not rhyming at all) and he was one of PL's homies from tha hood in the P.G.C. but that had nothing to do with why Kwin suggested they leave that song off the album. Many objective ears were not impressed with the song. The overall consensis was that the song was wack....The 21 song track line up might not ever get heard by anyone but PL & Kwin MD...
Street Value Records was Plan A, and APG Forx Records was plan B...
Street Value Records was planning to release the "Double Up Double Down" and get it into all the stores that Super D One Stop Distribution is currently selling the "Boilahmaker Sipper" album. The Music Video's for PL's solo song and the PL & Kwin MD single "$6,560,088" were planned to be marketed to Urban Xpressions by Street Value Records and radio airplay as well as an EastCoast Tour were all parts of the Street Value Plan...
There's a big part of that "Double Up Double Down" that Shallow aka Nvisible Beats is entitled to 34% of the royalties on...PL owns 33% of the royalties on those songs and Kwin MD owns 33% as well. This was a contract that Shallow signed agreeing to supplying beats for the album. Fact is the album's orginal song line up used plenty of beats that were not included in that agreement.
The original album can not be shown because of PL's 50% ownership of Street Value he legally owns and is not releasing the tracks he owns execlusively.
The song line up that APG FORX can legally show has:
Show me Love ( a PL song which PL bought the rights to that SHALLOW Beat & owns 100% of the rights to and this was not under the 33,33,34 contract agreement)
another song just like that was Time Bomb PL owns 60% of the rights Nvisiblebeats.com/NonSuch
Aggrevated Assualt was a song that Kwin MD owned 100% of the rights by nature of purchasing this beat from Shallow before he even met PL...
Walkin Thru the Jungle 33% (this was 2 beats in one song that was done in that Contract agreement, Shallow ownes 34% of the rights to this one)
Sink or Swim 33% this one was under that Shallow Agreement too..
Sound Spectrum Remix 33% (same as above)
Constant Misery was like Aggravated Assualt owned by Kwin by nature of purchase
$6,560,088 like the above song, Kwin bought the rights
Drug Life was like the above song but PL bought the rights to it
Backseat Lover was like the above song PL owned the rights
So if the album "Double Up Double Down" came out as scheduled, then the royalties that PL, Kwin, and Shallow would share would have had to had been pro-rated....Because the agreement was under a contract for Shallow to produce the whole enire album & get 34%, the whole album was not supplied as it shows in the contract by Shallow.
Kwin MD wanted to Pro-Rated to find the 34% of the songs that Shallow did supply and divide that number by how many other songs were on that album and get a basic rate to Pay Shallow per unit sold.
PL did not want to Pro rate that for Shallow's Cut of the Royalties, PL was starting to hate on Shallow and felt as though Shallow didn't deserve a Cut of the Royalties because Shallow was Charging his money for regular Prices after he broke PL & Kwin Off a few Beats....So yes & No....
Yes, Shallow didn't deserve the 34%, but in Kwin's oppinoin No, he didn't deserve nothing, he did supply some of the music that he was under agreement for...
Of Course this is not the biggest differance in PL's & Kwin's outlooks & Oppinions that cause the Falling Out, it is just one of few....
PL had a Solo Album he was finishing Up too called "Don't Lose Touch"...The Plans for Street Value Records was to Release that a few months after the "Double Up Double Down" album...Then put out a Kwin MD solo album. The year was 2005, around May when the whole Falling Out Happened. Kwin's Music was ready. After PL opted out of the whole release process of this album and chose to stop dealing with Kwin in the Music Business, Kwin put the "Boilahmaker Sippah" out....It's in stores now....
PL is still the Sr. Vice President of Street Value Records
He was in charge of Booking Shows, mix down engineer and editor and Radio/Network TV relations
Kwin MD is the Head of Officers and C.O.O. of Street Value Records
They were supposed to be equal partners, na mean, 50-50....
Kwin was in Charge of Publishing, Copyrighting, Trademarking, Negotiating, Bookkeeping, the Internet promotions, Senior Promoter, and Mass Manufacturing....
This didn't mean that Kwin didn't Book any Shows because he did find a show in Philadelhia that they did in 2003.
PL still owns 50% of Street Value Records
Kwin MD owns 100% of APG Forx Records
Kwin MD owns 50% of Street Value Records
Street Value Records is Copyright/TM 2005 APG Forx Records

APG Forx Records
The history of the APG Forx Record Label dates back to Jan. 0f 2005. The entire movement of two albums getting ready to be released were on the way. "Double Up Double Down" and "Boilahmaker Sippah". The moment that PL (Paul Love) had chosen not to continue on with the process of the "Double Up Double Down" album which was ready for press & promotion months from hitting the stores. Kwin had already made arangements for Publishing and Copyrights of his own music (which is now on the "Boilahmaker Sippah" album) and the music for the "Double Up Double Down" album he was waiting on some final touches by PL at the studio in Bowie, MD (Nonsuch Productions with engineer Rob "The Bear" Consentino)....
The album "Double Up Double Down" got mailed to Kwin by PL (all the finishing touches complete) the master was ready, but the credits needed to be identified. The idea was to have PL mail his solo songs to ascap for his own 100% ownership of his music through ascap publishing. Kwin did that for his solo music under his Publishing Company known as APG Forx Records. Street Value Records was the name of the publisher for both PL & Kwin MD....
PL never copyrighted his solo music, so, only the collab songs were published & copyrighted under Street Value Records.
All Kwin MD solo songs on both "Boilahmaker Sippah" & "Double Up Double Down" were published & copywritten under APG Forx Records.
The songs which Kwin wrote lyrics to & recorded for mix tapes under the S.O.A.z (all lyrics are copywritten & published by APG Forx)...About 50% OF All S.O.A.z songs are over instramentals which are not execlusive and the rights are not owned by the S.O.A.z but Kwin MD owns the rights to 100% of his lyrics and ghost wrote "Don't touch the Stereo" by PL (100 % of those lyrics are owned by Kwin)...
So APG Forx actually owns the name: Street Value Records as well. That name is copyright APG Forx.
Although PL owns his share as Sr. Vice President of Street Value Records, the whole disagreement and beef and falling out with Kwin never changed what PL is legally entitled to....
Now APG Forx Records has some more things in store for 2008.
The label is not a typical record label because those typical labels have big money to invest. APG Forx can't afford a promo budget like a normal label. They can however, support any artist who wants to be an S.O.A. and own 100% of the rights to their own music. No other label will offer an artist that. Most people don't know, that Michael Jackson owns the rights to the Beattles music now. He bought the rights a few years ago. When car commercials & Movies remake or use songs the artists are getting paid small money like 5% or less of the revenues that the media pays the publisher for the remake or use of the song. When you own your music 100%, the car company who uses your song in a commercial pays you the 100%.
So sign with Def Jam and get low publishing money & sign with APG and be a S.O.A. and get 100 Publishing Points.
Self Owned Artists don't get pimped by no labels. APG Forx is the label that gives artists a chance to be Self Owned Artists or S.O.A.z...
Other Labels want execlusive rights to you as an artist and want money for your collabs like in album credits you'll see (for example)
Jay Z appeares Courtasy of Roc-A-Fella Records
You'll never see Kwin MD appears Courtasey of nothing....
Courtasy means that Label Got money for the Collab & Paid that artist "their cut"....
That might be how big labels pay for such big Promo but we aint payin big promo so APG Forx aint big Pimpin either.
Big Promo Labels be Big Pimpin the Artists who signed to them....
This is a Low Budget Label that does a Break Down Shake Down for every penny....
The 2008 Year has many things in strore under APG Forx Records and here are some:
There are 3 songs which all have the potential to be Singles in the works for 2008....
APG Forx has gotten the rights to the music to record these 3 songs.
S.O.A.z MCz will write the lyrics including KWIN McKoman Doni
APG Forx Publishing
Music produced by Roc One
Music © 2008 All Rights Reserved. Used under License.
S.O.A.z MCz will write the lyrics including KWIN McKoman Doni
APG Forx Publishing
Music produced by Bellson
Music © 2008 All Rights Reserved. Used under License.
The 3rd song was also produced by Roc One
APG Forx Records will be releasing at least one Common Ground album in 2008 and possibly another Common Ground Album...
The "Best Of Kwin MD (est. '99 son)" album is corrently availible for MP3 Download, also it is availble for FREE but it might be in stores soon through the Super D distribution deal that was recently made availble for APG Forx Records. Some time in 2008 the local stores that support Super D distribution will have this Double Disc album availble for your purchase...In Stores...Although you would have to special order it through the store nearest you on the list...
That list will be here (again) in THA HOOD/ Garageband BBS on REMOTE after APG Forx Records makes that CD availible in those selected stores....
APG Forx Records has already made "Boilahmaker Sippah" availible in stores that support Super D Distribution...

For all locations it's the same thing to get the music by McKoman Doni, you got to special order them through the store. All the stores have Super D- One Stop as a distributor that they work with. So mention to the stores that it's through Super D (the distributor that each one of these stores use already) and that you wanna order McKoman Doni CD called "Boilahmaker Sippah"
There was 10 songs on the "Triple 2" album here's some information on 7 of them:
This isn't everywhere that has Super D there are more places but here are some of the biggest City's Stores:

"Double Up Double Down" album history
This album was supposed to be released in Early 2005 about Feb...PL (Paul Love) & Kwin MD made this album. This was a album like the "Blackout" album by Redman & Method Man. They had a record label for it that they owned together 50% each called Street Value Records. PL handled most of the master mix down over at Non-such Productions in Bowie, MD. He felt as though he was contributing more financially then Kwin MD. Well the shows they did in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Virginia Tech were funded by PL because Kwin's money wasn't right then...The thing is, "Scramblin", "Aggrevated Assualt", and "Constant Misery" were 3 songs that Kwin MD executive produced. Kwin MD executive Produced a solo PL song called "Don't Touch the Stereo" and also ghost wrote that song for PL too... that equals $400 right there. There was less then $400 spent by PL on those trips to perform those shows mentioned. There were other things factoring in how PL felt about the financial issues and other money contributions by Kwin MD for the album and in collaboration with PL.....
This album is still considered "Unreleased", because PL owns rights (exclusive rights) to some of the songs on the original album song line up. Due to the fact that this album was worked on for a long period of time (from 2001 to 2004 because they lived in differant states) the music is a big part of both of these MC's careers. Kwin MD has made a modified version of this album availible on the www.mckomandoni.com for voters of the POLL QUESTION as one of the choices in the 2 FREE CDs....The version availible does not include the original track line up. The version availible has only songs from the album that PL does not have 100% exclusive rights to... One of those songs PL (Paul Love) owns 100% of the rights to is "Nemesis" which was a solo song that he did with Rob "The Bear" Cosentino at Nonsuch Productions. When you read this entire post here, you'll see that at the bottom of this post Kwin MD and his street team did a few test runs with a few objective audiences...The test audience said one of the songs was wack, a consensis across the board...This is not Kwin MD saying it, the listeners said it. If Kwin MD was trying to go out his way to diss PL, why would he do what we are about to mention (about) this song "nemesis"? The same listeners who had a consensis wack reaction to the song (we talk about in the end of this post) had a consensis: That's a great song when they listened to "nemesis". This is an objective audience. These people never met PL. No reason to hold back on critism no reason to gas him up. Kwin MD told PL about the reaction that "Nemesis" got and convinced him to use it on "Double Up Double Down" (PL was not even planning to release it on his solo album and didn't seem too confident in that one). That song is a good one & unfortunately, we can not share it with you because PL owns 100% of the rights to it....Only PL can authorize that song to be heard these days....
This "Double Up Double Down" modified version can be downloaded at: http://www.soundclick.com/store/digital/01_Shop_Album.cfm?bandID=306330&albumID=6258
That online MP3 download version is differant then the modified version for the FREE CD offer when you vote.
Here is the differance:
(We have more then 18 songs on the FREE CD, but only 12 of those are online)....
Here is a break down on the 18 song version when you chose it for free in the POLL 2 CD's for free offer...

* means- This song was not on the original 21 song line up.Shallow holds 34% to the songs that PL holds 33% of the rights, and Kwin MD holds 33% of the rights to theose songs too.APG Forx has Street Value Records as a subsidary, and this music is all COPYRIGHT 2004....
Here is the APG Forx disclaimer message about PL's 50% ownership of Street Value Records:
PL (Paul Love), was Kwin MD's old recording partner. They made a whole album, once, together called "Double Up, Double Down" scheduled to get released under the branded name: Street Value Records...The deal did not ever go through due to a heated arguement when PL claimed he contributed more financially then Kwin MD.PL made these comments & quit the project during the Press & Promotion process shortly after the master mix, copyright, & trademark of the CD was done ("Double Up Double Down" & Street Value" both Registered by APG Forx & all Street Value songs are reserved for PL. PL still owns 33% of rights to some songs, 50% rights to a few others, a few were songs PL owned 0% of the rights, and a small few he owns 100% of the rights to.ALL "Double Up Double Down" songs PL owns 100% of the rights to, you may not ever hear. The 33% songs, 0%, & 50% songs (FROM PL's share of Street Value) may get released by APG Forx with the Street Value Brand as a subsidary tag...
The original 21 song line up had about 3 or 4 solo tracks by PL & the equal amount of solo's by Kwin MD.
The original had a song called "President PL" which was left off the modified versions because after playing the album for many critical ears it was not impressing. When Kwin MD suggested that they press the CD with out that song, PL was not able to accept the critism too well and got angry (this was one of their last conversations before the recording and music business relationship had ended).

The overall consensis was that the song was wack....
The 21 song track line up might not ever get heard by anyone but PL & Kwin MD...

"The Nutcrackka" album history
"Tha Nutcrackka""
http://www.network54.com/Forum/40599/message/994914574/The+Nutcrackka was heavily promoted in 2001...As a matter of fact the 12 track album that was picked up by UGF (Under Ground Family) / Mad Flavor Ent. which signed Kwin MD to a one album deal...They were supposed to release this album around August of 2001. They didn't give Kwin MD a recording budget and they kept pushing the release date back. They listed Raptor Ent as the name of the distribution company, when Kwin MD called Raptor, the CEO of Raptor told Kwin that the distribution deal with UGF was over.
Since UGF lost the distribution deal and UGF didn't fund any of the making of this album the one album deal was null & void.
The 12 songs included one feature of Champain aka: New Jack of Domino Soul Ent. from Jacksonville Florida (who was on several songs in the PREQUAL era including most of "Step into my office...") and Metaphysiks featured on 2 songs on this album ("I am" and "Hip Hop")....
The entire CD was produced by Shallow Productions (who changed his name to Advance Beats then went back to Shallow, now goes by Nvisible Beats)...

The answer about 7 years later is, yes I am "literally a cracker whose nuts." If you listen to "Never Done Vol. One" or "Boilahmaker Sippah" the song "Waite in Line" clearly uses a few bars to similarly say the same thing. I'm the nuttiest cracker since Lawrence (refering to Lawrence Taylor who was a great New York Giant Linebacker and also a known Crack addict).....

no actually the internet is taking over. more people are starting to buy from the net than in stores. you should do more reasearch. and when a contract expires the terms of that contract are not lost. until I deliver the master to you I still own it. Now if you want to fight that we can do so in court, im tryin to tell you how the business works and you want to tell me how you "think" it works?I only back a product I believe in. i dont believe in the material you sent. I believe in your old CD more. You want me to give you $20,000? Im not offering you a record deal, I was offering distribution. Now if I believed in that product I still woudnt give a recording budget but would invest $20,000 in paying coop advertising fees which is an essential part of distribution (and the reason why indie artists dont make it into stores)... Bayside handles my general sales while Red/Sony BMG handles digital & online. I'll tell you what any label will : If you cant sell 100 copies online you cant sell 1,000 in stores. a label would tell you to prove yourself, an advance is a loan and in music you have bad credit so you show me what you're doin for yourself and then we can talk about what I can do for you. If you wont invest in yourself why should anyone else?UGF you should come out them pockets for me. Give me a budget & I'll give you a product. If you fuckin with sony now you gotta have the loot. $300 & $500 should not be a damn thing to you now. Tell you what, if you send me $20,000 I'll sign a deal with you & your Sony/Red crew. I'll give you the product you want. I'll exceed expectations cause I represent 4 mines. PS: If you messin with Sony & them you shouldn't be worried about this old shit anyway. You posed to be paid right? I aint make no sales yet, that's why I was hollin at you. Plus how dumb do you think I am I have internet disribution, it sucks. Don't nobody wanna buy a cd on the net....UGF Entertainmentwrote: You are a bit confused on how the music business works. Copyright doesnt mean a thing. I own the masters which means I am the only person who can make copies of that song. and as far as publishing all that means is that if I re-released your material I would have to pay you performance rights/publishing royalties when your song was played on radio or television. Other than that you have n rights to reproduce those songs in any capacity. The only song I liked was the one with Bodacious.I gave you the opportunity to buy back your rights and you declined. The contract wasnt forfeited. As far as releasing that CD I would have to decline, it was poorly put together and is too underground sounding. I now have distribution thru Bayside and Red/Sony BMG and they would surely decline to release the product. Underground sells in the street Not in stores. So I would not put any money behind the project. But if you wanted just digital and online distribution I would do it for $300 but I would definetly not push it to retail via Red/Sony BMG and Bayside because we would all be made to look like fools. No offense to you but you just have to take your time when making music, the effects were choppy, verses poorly done, beats were way too underground to sell. Now if you still want to buy back your rights $500 is what it would cost. Thats a penny compared to how much it normally costs. UGF Entertainment http://ugfmusic.com/ Robert Quinn wrote: Well sir the statement you had made is a matter of business I want to work out. I don't have no sales. I need help with promotion. I would like your help if we can arrange somethin that gets you the compensation you disire we can try this again. That is why I sent you the CD. If you & I can work somethin out I would be delighted.

Don't nobody wanna buy a cd on the net....UGF Entertainment

"Never Done Volume Two"
This ablum was put out not long after Volume One & like the first one it has songs from post the PREQUAL era along with some of the songs from "The Nutcrackka" that were not on the 1st one. It had a mix similar to the first one. Between Volumes 1 & 2, many of the songs that were on 1 & 2 are on the "Boilahmaker Sippah" album. The reason why so many albums came out in the Post Prequal Era with similar songs is......"The Nutcrackka" was never really released by Mad Flavor Ent, the bootlegs that leaked the street were it, the "Never Done" (Volumes 1 & 2) were put out online on the old kwinmd.com through the mp3.com/kwinmd distributor which (that owner sold to today's owner of mp3.com which does not cator to unsigned artists in the same way). When mp3 sold the site, the last of only about 10 copies for each album were shipped back to Kwin from the old owner of MP3 in California. Kwin sold the last ones on the street and these "Never Done" albums are collector's items that are very rare...
So the music is used again on the "Boilahmaker Sippah" album, which is availible to download or buy on CD at www.mckomandoni.com and this album "Never Done Volume 2" is unlike the first Volume in that we can not show you a rare page from Kwinmd.com about it. We do have a page that we were putting together for mckomandoni.com that never made it on the site yet, with a picture of the CD cover of "Never Done Volume Two".... The CD Cover of Garageband Records release with Dream Aka Kameil Madison on track 1 & Kwin MD featuring Shallow & Bodacious on track 2 is also on this page....
http://www.geocities.com/kwinmd1/kwinimagepg2.html
Before this post is over we can now take a look at every Kwin MD CD that is a collector's item and only one of them is still in Circulation....
"The Prequal...Step into my Office" is still in circulation but is a collectors item.
"Step into my Office..." is a collectors item
"Never Done Volume One" is a collectors item
"Never Done Volume Two" is a collectors item
"Best of Urban Underground 2002" Garageband Records is a collectors item
"The Nutcrackka" UGF/Mad Flavor Ent. is a collectors item
Which means, the only 4 Kwin MD albums availible now. "The Prequal" (for free only through Poll Question participation at www.mckomandoni.com so vote on that poll), "Double Up Double Down" Street Value Records and APG Forx PL (Paul Love) and Kwin MD (for free only through Poll Question participation at www.mckomandoni.com so vote on that poll), "Boilahmaker Sippah" availible for FREE in the Poll, you can buy the CD, & you can download the mp3's at www.mckomandoni.com na mean, & the 4th one is availible to Download but the only way to get it on CD other then burning the mp3's that you download yourself is by voting in the poll, this one is a double disc so to get it in the two FREE CDs when you vote you will be using both FREE CDs on this one album known as "Best of Kwin MD (est '99 son)"

"Never Done Volume One"
This album was sold on the old kwinmd dot com which is now basically transformed into the site today for Kwin MD (we mention all the time) http://www.mckomandoni.com/ and it was distributed by the old owners of mp3.com through the mp3.com/kwinmd site which got linked to kwinmd.com....
Since kwinmd.com has not existed for a while now... So what you are about to get a chance to see is from that old website kwinmd.com and at the same time, it is not part of the new website http://www.mckomandoni.com/ which means that this post is the only place to see this web page about this album....
This album was created with the use of some UGF/Mad Flavor Ent. music that would have been on "The Nutcrackka" album if that record company didn't lose the rights by nature of losing the distribution deal & nolifying the contract.
This album includes some music from post the "Prequal" era & post the Mad Flavor Deal being nolified, and as mentioned above, the parts of "The Nutcrackka" album...
The last copy of this album was sold in 2003 and will not be back in circulation....
That said, here is what is left of the page it was on (on the old kwinmd.com site)....

The song "Forest Fire" and the story behind it....
Well this one started in 2003 on the day that Omega Redd introduced Kwin MD to Va'Les. As typed about in previous blogs, they did a whole lotm of recording that day on Kwin's Roland 880 EX machine. JAY TEE & OH10 (AKA TEN) were at Va'Les house that day too. The verse Omega Redd recorded that day was the one used on the song "Forest Fire". Sal Graci made the beat and Kwin added the samples & sound effects. Va'Les had a verse he added later at APG studios but, his part after Omega Redd's verse was from that day.
The 2nd part added to the song was Kwin MD's parts added at APG Studios.
The 3rd part was added in Newark Delaware by Sherese (a Jamacian Singer) who asked to be known as Traci because of the lyrics the rappers were using.
The 4th part (all of this on the Roland 880 EX) was done in Croften Maryland at PL (Paul Love's crib).
The 5th part (as mentioned above) was Omega Redd & VaLes at APG Studios adding some addlibs and other finishing touches....
How many songs do you know have this many locations from which they got recorded at.
Not to mention, when the beat was laid at Sal Graci's crib (that was in North Philly at the time).
So basically 6 differant Places is where this one got recorded at...
It was fun!

"Triple 2" album by the S.O.A.z
The "Triple 2" album is an album that never hit the streets, it was released execlusively to the internet in April 2006....
This download Album was only $3.99 and was meant to be affordable online and appealing to people who don't want to spent too much paper on the internet but might wanna cop a S.O.A.z CD.....
It was availible on the Soundclick page up until today. It became a collector's item today and was discontinued but not to worry because some new music is coming soon from the S.O.A.z

There was 10 songs on the "Triple 2" album here's some information on 7 of them:
"Forest Fire" is a song by Kwin MD, PL (Paul Love), Traci aka Sherese, Omega Redd, Va'Les, and Sal Graci.....That song is going to be the topic for the Next Segment on Monday 12-17-07.
We will give a fully detailed backround on "Forest Fire" then...
"Pressed" was a concept that at one time was going to be a title song for a album post the Mad Flavor Ent deal going south combining some newer songs with "The Nutcrackka" album and this was an idea that PL was inspiring Kwin to do around 2001....This is a Kwin MD solo track and Nvisible Beats aka Shallow produced it.
"The Nutcrackka Part 2" was done after Mad Flavor Ent signed Kwin but before the deal went south. Kwin was hoping that this would be the title track of his second release under Mad Flavor Ent....
"Luv 2 Smut" Featuring Lil' Debo on the mike, Va'Les and his cousin Willy from Philly collabed to create the beat, Kwin MD mixed this one down at APG Studios, Kwin MD did verse 2....
This one was a "S.O.A.z flavor of the month" back in 2006....
"P. Clinic" this was a REMIX of a song that Kwin MD did solo on "Step into my office..." it was one of the first songs Kwin MD ever wrote. This remix features Va'Les, Omega Redd, Lil Debo, Mikey, and other family members of Va'Les on the addlibs. This is like a comedy type song.
"Shake the System" featuring Omega Redd. The song is scheduled to be a "S.O.A.z flavor of the Month in 2008". It's about the United States Gov & other political issues. The song was playing when the cops came over Va'Les house one night when Kwin & Va'Les were recording and brainstorming. The song has lyrics about the cops. It was ironic that the cops heard the lyrics and didn't even ackowlidge any of it....That was some kind of moment....
"Bison" an "Odd Couple Production" which is when Va'Les & Sal Graci collab on a beat....Omega Redd did verses 1 & 3. Common Ground went bar for bar combining 3 MCs on verse 2 (Omega Redd, Va'Les & Kwin).....One of the first songs Kwin MD mixed down at APG Studios which was also one of the first Common Ground songs....
This album was discontinued on 4-16-08

The Album "Eraser" sold primarilly on the Streets
Before the "Eraser" story can be told, the falling out by PL (Paul Love) and the S.O.A.z including Kwin MD (first) the Common Ground chapter (Omega Redd & Va'Les) and even Shallow aka Nvisible Beats....PL (Paul Love) basically alienated himself from the whole team back in late 2004. Here's a disclaimer message from the modified version of the "Double Up, Double Down" album (which is modified due to the falling out)....Message:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now We Can tell the "Eraser" story with details....
This album "Eraser" was put together by Omega Redd, Va'Les, PL (Paul Love) and Kwin MD.
The album was sold in late 2004 and early 2005. The concept was put together in late 2003. The songs were talked about in 2003. The songs were all from before any of these 4 MCs met besides Va'Les & Omega Redd. All 4 rappers had a back catalogue collection of oldies but goodies type songs.
There were some from Va'Les featuring a rapper named Jay, Omega Redd songs from 2002 like the classic "Roten Garden". Some Kwin MD songs that were older then "The Prequal" era but before the "Double Up Double Down" era. PL's collection was big because he only put one solo album out (on the old MP3 called "Hall of Mirrors" which that mp3.com/PL went down with the whole MP3 site when it got sold). He wanted to put out a album for his music video "Person Demons" to promote. Some of the songs that he had planned not to included on his up and coming solo album were on "The Eraser" album.
"Underground Hussle" by all 4 MCs & "Forest Fire" by all 4 MCs were the only two songs on this album that were newly recorded. Most of this music was recorded between 1999-2002....
PL (Paul Love) could never freestyle. That was one reason why Omega Redd had no problems with PL's choice to stop making music with the Common Ground chapter of the S.O.A.z
PL always wanted to do his own thing on a solo tip, so he never bought into the whole S.O.A. or Common Ground thing.
On the song "Underground Hussle" in Common Ground Fashion it was done with out any writing on any paper. When Common Ground (Omega Redd, Va'Les, & Kwin MD) used to get together and record, preparation was optional. Very little preparation or writing lyrics really ever typically occured. These 3 MCs loved to Freestyle. Va'Les freestyled about 90% of all his music. Omega Redd freestyles about 70% of his music. Kwin MD freestyles about 45% of his music.
So when you hear the songs "Forest Fire" and "Underground Hussle" you can keep in mind that Omega Redd and Va'Les freestyled all their lyrics on both of those songs. PL took time to write his lyrics on "Forest Fire" (so did Kwin MD). Kwin MD freestyled "Underground Hussle" and PL tried to write some pieces while the other 3 MCs were freestylin and he did the hook...
Some other Common Ground Songs that were done freestyle:
"Rose Bush" Common Ground Featuring Lil Debo and Jay Tee (100 % Freestyle)
"Pedals" Omega Redd (written) the rest of the song (BIP) Freestyle
"Still Laughin" 100% Freestyle
"My Fault" 100% Freestyle
"Grilled Cheese" 100% Freestyle
We'd be here all night if I typed in the rest of the songs that had some Freestyles in them....
Around the same time "The Prequal" was out, the "Eraser" CD was being sold on the streets by the S.O.A.z street team which was mainly Va'Les, some of Va'Les's girl friends, Kwin MD and other friends of them 2....
They used to make one "Mix Tape" style CD with mostly artists who are on the radio (at the time) and a few new S.O.A.z songs...."S.O.A.z Classic Collections Vol. 1" Vol. 2,3,4,5.....
They would market it 3 for $5 or 4 for $7 and sell people the artists who they know and put S.O.A.z music in the pack of 3 or 4 CDs....
"The Eraser" is no longer availible due to the Street Value Records lisensing that PL does own (his solo tracks) execlusively...
Who ever got one while they could, it's a collectors item now.
Next Segment: FRI 12-14 on the "Triple 2" album put out by APG Forx/S.O.A.z

The Newest album "Best of Kwin MD (est. '99)" by McKoman Doni
Since this Album has not been released on the Streets yet, it is only availible two ways online. The FREE way by voting on our poll http://www.mckomandoni.com/ and the expensive way by downloading it. We have been Kicking Around a Track Order for months now & everytime we think we had a track order we see a flaw. The last one Omega Redd & Kwin listened to & Looked at seemed okay but it still isn't written in stone. No one asked for this as a choice for there 2 FREE CDs because (hardly any votes came in). So the order you see this (below) is not the track order. Sometime between now and 2009 this album will hit the Streets (as a limited edition item like "The Prequal" rare and execlusive) when it does the track order will be solidified....After reading about each song you can go here: CLICK THESE WORDS to download this album and burn it to a CD at your computer and put it in whatever order you want or VOTE in the POLL and select this as your choice for 2 FREE CDs (just send your mailling address & which 2 CDs you wanted free in a e-mail to mckomandoni@yahoo.com na mean we'll mail it to ya FREE)
Tell us in the e-mail a track order if you want too (or we'll make a track order for you) whatever you'll get this classic in the mail though....
This Double Disc CD includes these songs: There are 22 songs total on this double disc album
"Come with Me" F/ Shallow
"S.O.A.z Reign Supreme" By Common Ground
"Drug Life" F/ PL (Paul Love)
"Backseat Lover" F/ PL
"Money (REMIX)" done after the "Prequal age" remade with out the use of that word
"Nasty Talk" F/ Bodacious & Shallow (Once appeared on that Garageband Records release)
"Stick and Move"
(this was a song "Stick and Move" was on "Never Done Vol. 1" but not "The Nutcrackka" or "Boilahmaker Sippah" so since that CD went down with the old MP3.com/kwinmd it's now execlusive to this album)
"Throw Down" (that hit that was on 106.5 the beat in richmond, va)
"Throw Down REMIX" F/ Omega Redd & Va'Les (a S.O.A.z Street banger)
"Time Bomb" F/PL (this was written before the "Destruction Terror" and Kwin spit that verse in 2 differant ways, that way on Time Bomb was recorded after the other one because PL & Kwin live so far away and Kwin liked the lyrics so much he put a twist on them...
"Walkin Thru The Jungle (radio version)" just to solidify and proove that Street Value Records was serious about putting out the "Double Up Double Down" album, you can hear many of the songs edited for the radio (plus we had the music video too)...This needless to write F/PL
"I Converse" (This Classic is only the 5th song Shallow & Kwin did together)
"Drunk Again (Radio Version)" F/PL also another one that your local radio station could play
Before you go anywhere like the link below to download something, all 22 songs are listed here
DOWNLOAD THIS ALBUM NOW OR ONE INDIVIDUAL SONG NOW BY CLICKING THIS SENTENCE!!!!!!!

Mad Flavor Entertainment/UGF ENT.
UGF Ent. was the parent label to the sublabel Kwin MD got signed to for a 1 album deal back in 2001. Jay Hudson from Michigan was the CEO of UGF & Mad Flavor ENT....The album that Kwin MD completed was called "The Nutcrackka" which had 12 tracks one was "Throw Down" which got played on A Radio Station in Richmond, Va Called "The Beat". Mad Flavor didn't get that played, Kwin met one of their D.J.s at a Willy's Records Store on Hull Street across from the South Side Plaza...
UGF & Jay Hudson had a distribution deal with Raptor Records. "The Nutcrackka" release kept stalling and stalling, the distribution deal was lost by UGF before the album ever got pressed.
Kwin MD and his Lawyers got the rights (execlusive music & Publishing rights) back from UGF and then made the contrack null & void (and moved on).
In 2002 Kwin released "Never Done Vol. 1" which had half the songs from "TheNutcrackka" and the rest of the album was new music.
In 2003 Kwin released "Never Done Vol. 2" which had the other half of "The Nutcrackka" album along with some other new music.
In Early 2003, Kwin MD made an appearance on www.garageband.com Garageband Records:
"Best of Urban Underground 2002" and Kwin MD signed a contract that entitled him to Royalties from that release (which was sold online by Yahoo Stores).
Then later in 2003, Jay Hudson offered to make Kwin MD a deal where Kwin is the CEO of a sublabel under Jay's company and would give Jay percentages....That deal didn't ever get done because (dispite the Deal that UGF is supposed to have with SONY Distribution) Kwin didn't like the money on his side of the deal and was doing okay by himself with the S.O.A.z Street Team.
The 2005 "Boilahmaker Sippah" Album has some songs from "The Nutcrackka" as well. The reason why (was previously explained in a Post about the Internet/Website Histroy Post) is because MP3.com (the old version) sold their website off.....that website....www.mp3.com/kwinmd was gone. That was where "Never Done Vol. 1" & "Never Done Vol. 2" was sold. So when that site went down the drain, them last copies were sold on the street, that music was dead just like "The Nutcrackka". So "Boilahmaker Sippah" came out in 2005 with new Music And select songs from "Never Done Vol.s 1 & 2" which came from the unreleased album for Mad Flavor Ent. named "The Nutcrackka"...
The Next Segment: WED 12-12-07 is about The latest release "Best of Kwin MD (est. '99 son)"
and that album has some music from every album, "Step into my Office...", "The Prequal...Step into my Office", "The Nutcrackka", "Never Done Volume One", "Never Done Volume Two", "Eraser", "Double Up Double Down", "Self Owned Allstarz", "Best of Urban Underground 2002", & "Triple 2".....
That one was released execlusively to the internet and might not hit the Streets until 2008. That one is a Double Disc CD availible for Download purchase or For FREE as the 2 FREE CDs you get when you vote online....This one might not be availible long, we might make it a Rare Collector's item like how we did "The Prequal"....

The Poll Question:
There has been a Poll Question in THA HOOD that pays off well if you answer it.
"I AM" by Metaphysik, Shallow aka: Nvisible Beats, & Kwin MD was ranked very high in 2003 on Garageband but never made it to the second round. It was in the top 10 & still holds some records after thousands of songs were entered to the contest since. We can submit it to the contest again & see if it makes it to the 2nd round. Then it would have to win in this contest here first. Toe to Toe, Head to Head, Face to Face....Sudden Death playoff against "Damn Shame" by Common Ground. "Damn Shame" was started in November of 2005. It was completed in the Summer of 2006. (each member of Common Ground had busy schedules and we didn't spend 10 months on this song, we just had long gaps of time were we couldn't get together & when we could, we couldn't record just chill drink & smoke). We liked 60% of this one when we started it, we had some Mix Down trial & error & one verse to tighten up some. This one sort of flew under the radar because we never pushed it onto a mixtape in the streets or promoted it or performed it. This one is worthy of a Match Up again the S.O.A.z Flashback blast from the Past Classic "I Am".
Unlike two of the best S.O.A.z Flavors of the month, "I Am" never got into the second round. We think if we enter it into the contest, it might make it in because it was ranked #4 at one time. Just for now, this is only a flavor of the month Cannidate... Also, it's a S.O.A.z Classic "Blast from the Past"...
"I AM" by Kwin MD & Metaphysik
TRACK OF DAY MAY 15TH 2001
HIGHEST RANK: #4 IN RAP (3-13-03)
#10 BEST BEAT (all time)
#19 ROCKING TRACK IN RAP (all time)
Poll will be "I Am" for a second try to shoot for the 2nd Round against "Damn Shame". That winner will take "Alwayz Daydreamin" slot on the 3-08 FLAVOR OF THE MONTH.
For those who don't know: S.O.A.z stands for Self Owned Artists as in: No Record Labels take our money we make off music, we are similar to Hoes that don't have A Pimp. There's no Pimpy Label givin us our cut. Shallow is a Producer, Singer, Rapper who made the video for "6,560,088" by PL & Kwin MD & PL's solo video "Personal Demons". He made the beat for "I am" and now goes by Nvisiblebeats (He's from Richmond, Va). Metaphysik is considered an S.O.A. because he's unsigned & owns his rights to his music. He's an Emporian Legand Hailing from Emopia, Va (just North of North Carolina & Just South of Petersburg, Va). Common Ground is the first 3 S.O.A.z the core, the founding members of the S.O.A.z Coalition & Movement. Va'Les is from G-Town (Philadelphia's North West District) Omega Redd is from Chester, PA & Kwin MD from the Eastcoast (Atlanta, Richmond, D.C., Philly, Wilmington-DE, & Allentown-PA). Born & Raised an Eastcoast wonderer. Va'Les is sort of like Shallow, he Sings, Raps, & makes beats. Va'Les is one of the main Street CD husslers & promoters. He is the Street Team Leader. Va'Les stands for Very Less. Omega Redd is extremely talented in the studio. He doesn't do punch ins & if he does any preparation, he's on point. If he doesn't prepare, his freestyle game is execellant, so he's a dull threat.

"The Prequal...Step into my Office" the lost album (came out in 2006 on the Streets only)
The Prequal came out in Jan. 2005 when the last copy of "Step into my Office..." was sold online, APG Forx decided to put out a CD on the Street to tribute the 1,000 copies of the November 2000 release being sold.
Back in November of 2000, 1000 copies of Kwin MD's first album were made. In 2006, they were all gone. If you check put the online distributor, it shows in red letters, that they are sold out.... Peep that Link: www.cdbaby.com/kwinmd
But this is about THE PreQual Not the 1,000 copies getting sold out in 6 years. We know that aint nothin to brag about. If the CD was hotter then it was, it would not have taken 6 years to move them 1,000 copies.
The Prequal has 15 tracks to the 10 of the original "Step into my office..."
Some of those 10 original tracks were used again on the Prequal.
Some of the originals were not used on the Prequal.....
This album was recorded prior to the Mad Flavor Entertainment signing of Kwin MD. (more on the details of that record deal on the post segment scheduled for Tues. 12-11-07). These were songs recorded before Champain Got Locked Up in Florida (he lived in Philly during the recording days of The Prequal). This was even before the first Greenguy Appearance on Garageband.com.....This was the timeframe between when Kwin moved from Atlanta to Philly (5-99) and when Kwin met A local Rapper in Richmond named Tay who advised him to change his game (8-00)....The beginning of Kwin's career working with Shallow. It was the year 2001 where you could say that Kwin Swiched his style up and really took Tay's advise. He even re-recorded some of his songs to change his words to make them more up to date. "I Converse" is on THE PREQUAL one way, and on "Boilahmaker Sippah" (release in 2005) another way. Kwin took, "I Converse" back to the lab & changed it to get the style changed up, as so for "Assassin's Rain" (Kwin rerecorded that too). "The Nutcrackkah"(on Boilahmaker Sippah) has a gun shot in one of the verses to sensor the word but on THE PREQUAL it is in there with out the Gun Shot to sensor (you here the word).
"Step into my Office..." November 2000 release was the first one by Kwin MD. Kwin MD has evolved a lot since November 2000 when this came out. In the time when this CD was created, the rap game was completely differant. This CD was recorded before Eminem came out with his first CD. His music changed the game. Before He came out, the lyrics that are on this CD were acceptable to say for white rappers. In the studio, everyone was cool with Kwin spittin what he was spittin. These Days, Kwin MD does not rap like this anymore. These lyrics were not made to offend anyone. This is a rare hip hop CD that took place in a time before Eminem came out with a style that changed the game. Since that album was sold out, the motion to bring back some of these classic songs was made by APG Forx Records.
This Rare album that only hit the streets in 2006 went in a Philly Street Team package deal of 3 for $5 or 4 for $7....We liked to sell our customers alot of music at once because we like to leave a lasting impression. This rare album, was a spin off of a Collector's item and is so rare that it is also a collectors item.
The first 3 songs from The original "Step into my Office" (Money, I Seen Enough, and Microphone Solo) were on THE PREQUAL. Murder Rate is on THE PREQUAL but not the version that was on "Step into my Office...", the version on THE PREQUAL is from Kwin MD & Champain aka New Jack's first (both their 1st) ever trip to a recording studio. They did this version with Fred of Splash City and Kriminal from Darby, Pa. The first ever Kwin MD recorded song in a studio was done in Germantown (1999). On "Boilahmaker Sippah" album
www.cdbaby.com/mckomandoni you'll see a song which is the second to last song on the track order called "Judgement Night (remix)" Featuring Mike Pacino and Champain aka New Jack.
Beat by Shallow or Nvisible Beats on the "Boilahmaker Sippah" version or Remix. The original version is on THE PREQUAL and Champain made the beat. The Prequal has 2 Champain aka New Jack solo songs (one called) "Bitchez" (another called) "Backstabbaz". The Pussy Clinic is not track one on the original "Step into my Office..." album, on the Prequal it is track #1. "Another Scolion RMX" and "Bump and Grind" are the same as they were on "Step into my Office..." the original. The Prequal has the 3 songs metioned above (I Converse, Nutrackker & Assassin's Rain) which were rerecorded for "Boilahmaker Sippah". The Original "Step into my Office..." album only had 10 songs and only 3 of them were produced by Shallow. The first song Shallow produced for Kwin was called "The Condum Song". The only album that has the "Condum Song" is THE PREQUAL. Shallow's wife thought that the "Condum Song" was too degrading toward women and Kwin wanted to put that song on the original "Step into my Office..." album. Shallow was not married to his wife yet, they might not have been engaged or even living together yet, but Shallow did not want that song on that CD because of how his soon to be wife felt about it. The original "Step into my Office..." album would have had 11 songs and 4 Shallow songs but because of the content of this song "The Condum Song" it got left off.
"THE PREQUAL...Step into my Office" (circulation since 2006) was not only a rare collectors item because it contained the Original Murder Rate featuring Kriminal & Champain from Kwin MD's first trip to a studio, not only a rare collectors item because it was before that N word was considered not cool for rappers who are white to use in there lyrics, not only is it rare because it is the only CD that has the tabue song that would have made the original "Step into my Office..." album track line up be 11 but got reduced to 10 because Shallow's wife thought is was so disrespectful towards women, it is a rare collector's item because it has some music by Champain that can't be heard anywhere else like the original "Judgement Night" (with out Mike Pacino) and the "Step into my Office..." album is sold out, so the only way to get any of those songs on CD is "THE PREQUAL...Step into my Office" album while it was getting sold on the Street.
This CD will soon be availible to buy online but if you are interested in it now, we can give it to you for FREE (we even pay the mail man no shipping fees or nothing totally free no Bull) if you VOTE in the Poll we have to determine the March 2008 "S.O.A.z Flavor of the Month". Simply request THE PREQUAL CD as one of your 2 CDs you get free when you vote by including it with one more choice (choose the other FREE CD at http://www.mckomandoni.com/ ) and include a good address to mail these 2 FREE CDs to (you could chose a neighbor or a family member if you don't wanna give out your own address) and e-mail the mailling address & 2 FREE CD choices to mckomandoni@yahoo.com and if we check the votes and see that you did vote, we'll mail you them 2 FREE CDs. Yahoo e-mail's are free to get if you aint had one) place your vote (listening to the 2 songs is FREE) (Voting is Free)......
By the way Friday 12-7-07 segment is about the POLL QUESTION as well so most of that last paragraph is gonna be repeated tomorro. The main thing here is, "The Prequal...Step into my Office" is not listed as one of the choices (for a FREE CD choice), you get 2 FREE CDs when you vote, This rare collector's item has 15 tracks that can not be found anywhere else. "Step into my Office..." (Kwin's first album) is sold out, to get a chance to hear most of that album, (it had 10 songs) you can hear the best of "Step into my Office..." and more on "The Prequal...Step into my Office" (which has 15 songs)....The best of "Step into my Office..." and more classic songs from before Kwin MD swiched his style up and rerecorded 3 songs for the Mad Flavor Entertainment Album "The Nutcrackkah"....(in 2001)
Monday's Segment is about The S.O.A.z Flavor of the Month 2008 Line Up (each month has a song that is scheduled to be out that month). The line up has been out for a few month's now at http://www.mckomandoni.com/ on the S.O.A.z News Page, the whole thing is though, not all them songs are a stone cold mortal lock to be the song used that month, Monday you'll see what's hood...
Here's a link to an old page from the old website called kwinmd.com which is a page that was not added to the new mckomandoni.com website which was made in April of 2006 when kwinmd.com became discontinued. This link shows some info from the original news about "THE PREQUAL..." Click Here to view it....
